Welcome to Jane's Page!
Thank you so much for supporting my mission to prevent and treat colorectal cancer!
On Friday, February 22nd at Ski Wentworth, hundreds of participants who want to have fun, team build, exercise and make a difference in the lives of Nova Scotians, will embark on an unforgettable adventure as we Get Up There (GUT) for Colorectal Cancer.
Every day one Nova Scotia dies from a disease that is 90% preventable. That disease is colorectal cancer, and we’re on a mission to prevent and treat this silent killer through funds raised at this year’s GUT.
We’ve set big goals for this year so that we can continue to fund awareness for the importance of early detection of colorectal cancer, as well as bring colorectal brachytherapy to the QEII Health Sciences Centre, which will be a life changing technology for Nova Scotians facing a colorectal cancer diagnosis.
Together, in our 11th year, we will not only climb mountains but we will move them and make an impact on the lives of Nova Scotians faced with colorectal cancer diagnosis.
